Pop Evil Kansas Crossing Casino

Pop Evil launched Rocktober off at Kansas Crossing Casino last night with an amazing performance of hits from all their albums. Big Dog 97.9 from Joplin, Missouri was in the house to kick off the concert annoucement that evening and list the rest of up coming shows at the casino. Pop Evil has been on tour since June and it has already been one of the longest tours of their career. Pop Evil made the annoucement at the end of the night brand new music is scedulced for begining of next year as the crowd went wild. This is one of the most highly energetic bands you will see live they are amazing to their fans be sure to check out the VIP option at their shows when available

Gringos Coming Soon To Joplin, Mo

A local favorite Gringo’s restaurant will be opening soon on West 26th in Joplin, Missoouri construction is almost finished. The building is expected to have two drive thru’s for faster ordering service, a large dinning area, and plenty of parking for customers. Joplin has its share of mexican resturants in town but one thing is for sure customers in the area love Gringos. If you can’t wait for opening you can always visit the Webb City location on S Madison

One Killed In Crash Thursday Evening Near Redding’s Mill

Joplin, Mo- Around 2:55 P.M. Thursday afternoon police were dispatched for a two vehicle crash emergency response to Highway C and Dutch Elm Drive from Redding’s Mill Fire Department.

Missouri State Highway Patrol are investigating this crash. Newton County Sheriff’s Deputies were also at hand to assist with traffic.

The report was a 2016 Ford Fusion being driven by Morgan Davis, 23 of Seneca, Missouri. That failed to yield and collided with a pickup which overturned.

A older GMC Sierra pickup truck was being driven by 58-year-old, Chris Tripp, of Neosho, Missouri, who suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

His passenger, Jane Tripp, 56, of Neosho, Missouri was ejected from the pickup, transported to Mercy where she was later was pronounced dead.
