Trump Signs Animal Cruelty Law

President Donald Trump signed a bill monday afternoon called the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act, makes intentional acts of cruelty to animals federal crimes carrying penalties of up to seven years in prison. This expands a popular law that was signed by former President Obama in 2010 that banned videos that showed animals  being crushed, burned, drowned, suffocated, impaled or subjected to other forms of torture. With this new law in effect intentional acts of cruelty shown in the videos are also felony offenses. If you witness animal abuse please speak out.
