Jake Owen Downstream Casino

Country Star Jake Owen made an amazing return to Downstream Casino and Resort on July 6th 2019. Six years ago in 2013 was the last time the rising country star visited and he is still dominating the charts since his amazing return. Mr. Owen and his band rocked fans of all ages it was certainly a country night to be remembered. Local food truck vendors were on site serving and sizzling up some the best food from the area including Ghettos Tacos a local favorite at food markets and festivals across the area. Immeditaley after the concert was over their was a fireworks show celebrating the casino’s 11th anniversary.

Did We Mention A T-Rex At A Country Concert!

Structure Fire 720 S Pitcher Joplin MO

Late this evening dispatch calls came in about a structure fire located at     720 S Pitcher Joplin, Missouri accross from the Children’s Haven. Joplin Fire Fighters had to break the doors to the home down as it was barricaded tight no one had been living at the residence for a while. Multiple Joplin Fire Department vehiles and emergency personel responded. Local electrians arrived a short time later to check on the neighborhood for power in the area.

Water Rescue Joplin Falls

Late this evening in Joplin, Missouri multiple emergency personel were dispatched to The Joplin Falls shortly after 8 p.m. responding to a water rescue. Multiple people male and female were rescued including a pregnant women without any injuries. Ronnie Metcalf of The Joplin Fire Department briefed us shortly after the event was over the water rescue lasted nearly 25 minutes.

Joplin Fire Department along with Redings Mill Fire Department worked the scene.

When ever your in a situation like this know your surroundings and where you are located making it easier for 911 and emergency personel to reach and rescue you.

Train & The Goo Goo Dolls Rock The Amp

The summer is heating up with an amazing line up hitting the stage at The Amp in Rogers, Arkansas. Train and The Goo Goo Dolls rocked fans of all ages Wensday night. The Wal-Mart Amp brings in some of the best music to the region with concerts lasting all summer long and each year the line up is incrediable it makes you wish your summer was longer.

You could instantly recoginze the chords to your favorite lyrics as the band was performing with the crowd and was singing along. Delivering hit after hit these two bands are showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Crowd interaction is amazing when a band relates their music and what it means to you thats what makes a show so special and worth attending.
