Carl Junction Tornado Damage 5-23-2019

When an EF-3 tornado swept through Carl Junction Missouri hitting Briarbrook community along its path of distruction on the 8th annivesary of the Joplin Tornado. The local community came togeher with mounting support. a series of tornados broke out that night hitting Jefferson City Capital and Golden City Missouri with 3 confirmed deaths. Massive flooding had been an issue in the days before. May is be counted as one of the mostly historic flooding and torandos unleases in years.

The Briarbrook Golf Course was set up a community center for donation drop offs and volunteers to come and sign up to help out neighbors. A local resturant Clarks was on site to distribute free food to the community and its workers. when walking down the streets some homes were very lucky others were a complete loss.

Storm Damage Ravages Pittsburg Kansas


As severe thunder storms were warned as early as last night across multiple platforms Meteorologist predicted tornadic activity across the midwest. Pittsburg Kansas Crawford County experienced heavy winds with power lines down blocking multiple streets, trees crushing cars and falling on various houses in the area. Fire Fighters were going door to door checking on residents to see if they were ok and needed any assistance. Several blocks on Braodway Street in Pittsburg Kansas were blocked off do to power lines being broke near the Mall.

Wheaton Tornado Damage

As thunderstorms rolled into the midwest and weather radars warning of high winds and possiable tornados. Wheaton Missouri suffered damage southwest auction took a direct hit along with several homes losing their roofs. Broken power lines were scattered in the area causing several roads to be closed off to traffic and vehicles having to be rerouted. Emergency crews worked through the night to restoring power to the area. Regional Entertainment News was on the scene shortly after annoucements on TV and radio stations. below are photos taken on 4-30-2019 that night of damage in the Wheaton area
