Late this afternoon several vehicles were involved in a multiple crash
on I-44 near Exit 6 in Joplin, Missouri. At least 2 people were transported to the hospital via ambulance. Joplin Police Department along with Joplin Fire Department working the scene. Traffic is expected to be backed for a while if you are heading to Joplin, Miami & Tulsa area take alternate route
