Big Slick KC 2019

The 10th annual Big Slick happens June 7-8, 2019 in Kansas City.
The Big Slick Celebrity Weekend, which over the last decade has raised millions for the Cancer Center at Children’s Mercy Hospital, is always the perfect mix of entertainment and philanthropy.
Started 2010 as a small event by local celebrities Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, David Koechner and Eric Stonestreet, and the event has become a pop cultural “must attend” event.
A large amount of Hollwood A-listers are expected to participate. In addition to Riggle, Rudd, Sudeikis, Koechner and Stonestreet starting as co-hosts in 2014. Guest celebrities who have participated include Selena Gomez, Will Ferrell, Jon Hamm, Olivia Wilde and others.
Big Slick’s Saturday night party at the Sprint Center. Tickets for the Saturday start at $79, for standard lower level seating, to $200 for lower level that include an open bar. Tickets for the event available at Sprint Center box office or charge by phone at 888-929-7849.
Other activities include the Big Slick Celebrity Softball game at Kauffman Stadium on June 7. Anyone with a Royals game day ticket can view the festivities. If bought through www.bigslickkc.org, a $5 donation will be included for each ticket purchased.
Big Slick has raised more than $8 million to fight cancer since inception of event in 2010.
Children’s Mercy has used the proceeds to continue its battle against various cancers. Children’s Mercy recently expanded its bone marrow transplant unit, were able to attain early detection equipment and add updatded equipment in the oncology hospital room.
