Dollar General Dedicates First Hour To Seniors

Dollar General Corporation announced Monday their plans to dedicate the first hour of each shopping day to senior shoppers, as well as amend store operating hours starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020

Dollar general corporation said they are doing this for the elderly and their shopping needs, who are the most vulnerable to the COVID-19 coronavirus. They want to be able to provide these at-risk customers to buy things they need at the beginning of each day to avoid busier and crowded shopping.

All stores plan to close a hour early so employees can clean and stock shelves, as well for the employees health and safety. Dollar general says they will still open up at regular times.
