Another business is set to close its doors for good Pier 1 Imports is closing all 540 locations. Tuesay the company annoucned that is was unable to locate a buyer after it filed for bankruptcy earlier this year. Pier 1 opened it’s doors in 1962 and grew into a multi million dollar company over several decades. Stores will reopen and start the going out of business sells when it is safe. The Coronavirus has impacted thousands of businesses and jobs and shows no signs of slowing down even though most of the county is slowly opening back up.
