The Stadium Tour led by Motley Crew set to rock Glendale/Phoenix on August 25 at State Farm Stadium

Coming out of the “COVID” era this show isn’t the only show to finally be here…it is THE SHOW. The show we are talking about is the much anticipated Stadium Tour as it rolls in to Glendale/Phoenix on the Thursday, August 25th.  More than two-and-a-half years after it was announced — due to pandemic delays — it finally hits Arizona as one of the most successful and anticipated tours in the modern era will pack the house at State Farm Stadium. The tour consisting of Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Poison, Def Leppard and Motley Crew as the evenings main event.  For Motley Crue, The Stadium Tour follows one they did nearly a decade ago, the last time they were in the Southwest. That one was called The Final Tour, which of course meant Final until this one is set to give eager fans of music from the “greatest generation of rock” a taste they have long been waiting for.

Joan Jett, will open the show which is scheduled to begin at 4:30pm. Jett, a 63-year-old who was a Runaway at 16, is still youthful, and is receiving rave reviews for her hit-filled hour-long set. Many may not be used to arriving at concerts mid-week at 4:00pm, but it will be worth it for Jett who will give raving fans a steady run of sing-along jukebox hits.

Next on the bill is Poison and the ageless Bret Michaels and Poison. Ready to rock the stadium with their hits “Look What the Cat Dragged In.”, “Talk Dirty to Me”,  “Fallen Angel.”, an 80’s anthem “Nothin’ But a Good Time.” And the iconic power ballad of “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.”

The boys across the pond with Def Leppard are next in the lineup and have been entertaining crowds in stadiums for decades. Consistently delivering monster hits like “Foolin’,” “Love Bites,” “Hysteria”, “Photograph,” and of course “Poor Some Sugar on Me” complete with the night’s first taste of stage theatrics with lasers and haze with much more of to come. A southwest sunset befitting of a painting just in time to light up the stadium with the infusion of raw rock the people of Phoenix have been waiting for…

Vince Neil,  Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars and Tommy Lee will be bringing it and bringing it all. The boys from “The Dirt” know it’s time to rock Arizona and rock they will. The soundtrack for the youth of the 80’s will be on full display with a set of glam-metal classics — “Shout at the Devil,” “Too Fast for Love,” “Live Wire,” “Looks That Kill,” “Girls, Girls, Girls”, and “Kickstart My Heart,” — that made the early ‘80s an amazing time to relive. Known for their great hits and second to none stage show antics, this will be the can’t miss show of 2022 for the Glendale/Phoenix area. Here is your chance to relive the decade of decadence the 80’s with the Stadium Tour, August 25th at State Farm Stadium.
