Ron is an acclaimed actor known for his deep voice and powerful performances across film, television, and voice acting. Perlman gained widespread recognition for his role as Vincent in the television series Beauty and the Beast (1987–1990), which earned him a Golden Globe Award.
He is perhaps best known for portraying Hellboy in Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy (2004) and Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008), where he brought charm, humor, and depth to the beloved comic book character. Perlman has also starred in numerous films, including Pacific Rim (2013), Drive (2011), and Cronos (1993), frequently collaborating with del Toro.
On television, he delivered a memorable performance as Clay Morrow in the hit series Sons of Anarchy (2008–2013), further cementing his status as a versatile and compelling actor. In addition to live-action roles, Perlman is a prolific voice actor, lending his iconic voice to characters such as Slade in Teen Titans, the Lich in Adventure Time, and various roles in video games, including the Fallout series.
