Planet Comicon Kansas City is thrilled to welcome Jason Isaacs, best known as Lucius Malfoy from the Harry Potter films. Isaacs will appear Saturday and Sunday during the March 27–29, 2026 event at the Kansas City Convention Center.
A multi-award-winning British actor, Isaacs’ career spans major films such as The Death of Stalin, Black Hawk Down, Event Horizon, Armageddon, Hotel Mumbai, Peter Pan, and Dragonheart. His performance in Mass earned the Independent Spirit Robert Altman Award, and he continues to impress in upcoming projects like The Salt Path, Juliet & Romeo, Words of War, Honey Bunch, and Victorian Psycho.
On television, Isaacs recently earned an Emmy nomination for The White Lotus and has starred in fan favorites including Star Trek: Discovery, Sex Education, The OA, The Great, The Crowded Room, and Archie. His voice roles span Star Wars Rebels, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Baldur’s Gate 3, Scoob, and Superman: Red Son, with upcoming appearances in What If…? and Pierre the Pigeon-Hawk.
