Missouri State University announced their campaign to raise 250,000,000 million dollars over the course of 3 years ending in 2022. We were on hand for this event John Goodman and several others gave speechs on how important this is for the community of Springfield, Missouri and what education means to them.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Springfield police are looking for the suspected shooter or shooters who fired shots around a crowd of people at Club Rodeo on west Bennett Street, near Kansas Expressway.
Springfield police reported a fight inside moved out into the parking lot, where gunfire occurred.
No injuries were reported, 6 cars were hit by bullets and two other bullets hit the building.
The shots were fired just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Springfield, Mo- Sunday night officials responded to a call to check the well being of a child at a Springfield truck stop. A 2-year-old was found in a vehicle sweating profusely and was removed by local law enforcement.
The mother was located in the store and taken into custody, the 2-year-old was examined by medical professionals and released to Missouri children division.
