Jerry Seinfeld Returns To Springfield Mo

Mark your calendars Jerry Seinfeld is returning to Juanita K. Hammons Hall on Wednesday, October 23

The show starts at 7 p.m. tickets sold out fast just after annoucement when Mr. Seinfeld performed last time.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 23. You can buy tickets at or charge by phone at (417) 836-7678 or at the Juanita K. Hammons Hall box office. Tickets start at $45.

Missouri woman charged leaving child in car

Springfield, Mo- Sunday night officials responded to a call to check the well being of a child at a Springfield truck stop. A 2-year-old was found in a vehicle sweating profusely and was removed by local law enforcement.

The mother was located in the store and taken into custody, the 2-year-old was examined by medical professionals and released to Missouri children division.

Springfield man arrested in fatal hit and run accident

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. 27 year old Shannon Shaffer Jr. of Springfield has been charged with 2nd degree murder, 2nd degree assault, and leaving the scene of a crash. Shaffer Jr. is also facing charges of tampering and driving while license revoked. He is being held with no bond.

The Springfield Police Department located a burgundy Ford Escape in the 3200 block of W. Madison Ave believed to have been involved in the theft of a Budget Rental truck. 

A Budget Rental truck was believed to be the vehicle involved in the fatal crash on S. Campbell. The driver of that truck fled the scene of the accident.

Missouri State University security manager Matthew T. Brown, 43, was killed when a Budget Rental truck, believed to have been stolen, rammed another driver into his vehicle on S. Campbell Avenue on July 18th

Deadly Crash N 65 Springfield Mo


A deadly crash involving 2 vehicles in Springfield Missouri late this eveing claims the life of a female passenger on N 65 near Schoolcraft Frwy. The womans family has been contacted 2 individuals were transported via ambulance for non life threating injuries.

Lieutenant Chad McIntyre spoke to several memebers of the press shortly after 9:30 for statements and updates. The Frwy is expected to be closed for another 1hr & 1/2 while emergency crews are working the wreckage
