If you are planing a trip in the future important changes coming your way.

This is part of the REAL ID Act of 2005 that was put into place after the terrorist attacks of 9/11 in 2001.

Missouri is one of 11 states that was granted an extension, and the other 39 already comply

This will limit anyone without a REAL ID, from entering places like federal courthouses, nuclear power plants, military bases and flights.

Missouri residents will have until Oct. 1, 2020, before it becomes mandatory to have a REAL ID to enter certain federal facilities and board a commercial airliner.
