Planet Comicon Kansas City is following the Emergency Order issued by the City and will be postponing PCKC 2020, scheduled for next weekend (March 20-22). The safety, security and health of our attendees, guests, exhibitors, staff and volunteers will always be of the utmost importance to us. We will be shifting our efforts to our new event dates which will be in late summer or early fall of 2020 and will be announced in the coming days.
Options for fans to credit forward current admission purchases to one of our future events, either our rescheduled fall convention or our spring 2021 convention, will be offered. Refunds of all professional photo ops are beginning today and will continue over the next several days. We appreciate your patience as we work through the details on these next steps.
We will also provide similar options to our exhibitors. Each exhibitor may move their exhibit space purchases forward to either of our two upcoming events. We understand the financial impact that this postponement may have on individual creators, guests and small businesses that rely on shows like PCKC for their livelihood. We will continue to support and promote the incredible work of all of these individuals and businesses and ask our entire PCKC community to do the same.
We respectfully request your patience and understanding as we work through all the necessary steps to undertake the task of moving Planet Comicon Kansas City to a date later this year. Until then, please stay safe and take responsible actions to protect yourself in this current climate. Follow PCKC via our website, email newsletter and social media channels as we prepare for our rescheduled 2020 show.
