President Donald Trump said he will take action as soon as Saturday to ban TikTok, a popular Chinese-owned video app that has been a source of national security and censorship concerns for many months.
Tik Tok has millions of downloads across the globe and is poppular with young adults and teens.
President Trump claiming he could use emergency economic powers or an executive order to carry out the action. “I have that authority,” he said. “It’s going to be signed on Saturday”.
