Time to dig out your attics and storage sheds a very rare copy of Mickey Mantle 1952 Topps Baseball card just sold for 5.2 million dollars at auction this week. Only six Mickey Mantle cards graded a PSA 9 are known to exist and less then 4 have been graded a PSA 10.
The card was purchased by “Billionaire Boys Club” actor and entrepreneur Rob Gough.
Here is a look at some of the top prices paid for sports cards . The Mike Trout rookie sale in August of 2020 sold for 3.9 million. Before that a T206 Honus Wagner PSA 5, sold in 2016, held the record at $3.12 million.
