Home Improvement TV star Zachery Ty Bryan

pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges from his October Domestic Violence case.

Mr. Bryan was sentenced to 36 months of probation with multiple conditions, including partaking in a batterer intervention program (called Bridges2Safety). He must also have “no contact with the victim.”Bryan, who was accused of strangling a woman in the October incident, avoided six other charges, including harassment, coercion, strangulation, interference with making a report and second counts of menacing and assault in the fourth degree.

In October, the Eugene Police Department said officers were dispatched to an apartment after a reported physical dispute. They found Bryan, 39, sitting outside and his girlfriend, 27, at a neighboring apartment.

Bryan reportedly assaulted the victim, impeded her breathing, and took her phone away when she tried to call 911, police said.
