Newport Beach TV Fest 2025
TV Royalty Comes to the Coast: Newport Beach TV Fest Heats Up with Star Power and Screen Gold
Newport Beach, CA – Get ready for a red carpet summer kickoff like no other as the inaugural Newport Beach TV Fest lands at the iconic Lido Theater June 5–8, 2025, promising a dazzling four-day celebration of television’s brightest stars, boldest creators, and breakout talents. Presented by the visionary team behind the acclaimed Newport Beach Film Festival, this new event marks a thrilling chapter in the coastal city’s entertainment legacy.
From must-see panels to exclusive screenings, the TV Fest is already turning heads with a lineup that reads like a who’s who of modern television. Emmy-winning comedy and prestige drama collide as Abbott Elementary’s Quinta Brunson, Yellowjackets’ powerhouse cast, and This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman take the stage alongside acting icon Ralph Macchio. But the real headline? The arrival of Academy Award winner Billy Bob Thornton and the cast of Paramount+’s Landman.
A “Landman” Celebration
On Saturday, June 7 at 6 p.m., Landman will be honored with the festival’s Outstanding Drama Award—a nod to the show’s gripping narrative and standout performances. The series, which explores the high-stakes world of West Texas oil, has quickly become a critical and fan favorite, thanks in large part to the commanding lead performance by Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris.
Joining Thornton for the live panel and award presentation are co-stars Ali Larter (Angela Norris), Jacob Lofland (Cooper Norris), and Andy Garcia (Galino), promising an unforgettable night of behind-the-scenes stories and cast insights. It’s a rare chance for fans to see the talent behind one of TV’s most talked-about dramas up close.
